For 24 hours after it had happened, I was blissfully unaware of this sole-stirring fiasco.

I was working, you know.
And even Ramesh’s tweetcast didn’t mention it.
So when I did finally emerge from my media-exiled existence, I did as netizens do.

Guess what.

You Tube threw up 8800 video responses to Bush and Shoe.
Google threw up 12,900,000 results.

I love this chap.

A journo tosses two well-heeled missiles at him and the whole wide world gets something to laugh at, poke at, parody, spice-it-up-and-retell and what not for days after.

He’s inspired a browser game – aptly called Sock and Awe, amongst a zillion others. (How Srivats is that?)
Innumerable mashups are cracking people up.
I found one that is so neo.
In fact here’s a parody that had me in splits.

Man we needed this.

In the midst of all our current heavy-hearted-angst-and-anger-ridden-existences, we sure did.

This man can make more people laugh than Chaplin does today.
